I’m Zira, also known as Zira-Chan, and I’m an exclusive kawaii tattoo artist based at BSide Skin a tattoo studio in Braga, Portugal.
My art is a combination of my passion for Japanese kawaii culture and videogames and anime elements, such as characters and items.

The beginning of my career as a tattoo artist was surprising, and the challenges I faced along the way only strengthened my determination.

Although I studied game development and dreamed of working as a game developer at a AAA company, I discovered that my true passion was art. I started selling my drawings at anime conventions and art fairs as a hobby, which motivated me even more to follow this path. Over time, I realized that programming didn’t satisfy me, so I decided to follow my dream of being a full-time artist.

At first, I resisted the idea of being a tattoo artist. My boyfriend encouraged me to try, and soon I realized that I loved changing people’s lives through my art. I sought learning at a tattoo studio, which allowed me to evolve quickly and officially became a tattoo artist in 2022. Since then, I decided to focus on becoming an exclusive kawaii tattoo artist and I can’t imagine myself doing anything else.

I am confident in my art and my journey as a tattoo artist. My clients can expect the best from me. My passion for art only grows day by day.
